Ramble Quilt BOM February
Join Carole Frye, our expert instructor, for a guided class on the Ramble Quilt. Carole has been taking detailed notes while piecing our store sample and has even consulted with the designer to clarify some of the more unconventional steps. She is ready to share all her cutting and piecing tips to help you navigate this project.
In each class, Carole will provide a demonstration and guide you as you begin each round of the month, ensuring you have the confidence to finish the project. If you fall behind, don’t worry as Carole will offer catch-up assistance in future sessions to ensure every quilt top is completed!

Quilting is Carole's love and color is her passion. She has always loved creating things. Quilting quickly became an obsession after making her first quilt. It is Carole's source of artistic expression. This eventually led her to pursue teaching.
Carole has been teaching quilt making for over 30 years and continues to find joy in sharing knowledge and teaching others. Her mission is to create an encouraging and inspiring experience for both learning and instilling confidence in her students. She believe in skill building while having a good time!
Carole is originally from the east coast. She studied art in college and moved to sunny California in 1978! She lives in Oxnard with Ken and their little dog Jake.
Materials List:
Sewing machine in excellent working condition with foot pedal, cords and manual.
Neutral color thread 50/2 Aurifil
RAMBLE KIT
Rotary cutter and mat
Marking pencils for both light and dark fabrics
Washable glue sticks
6 1/2" (or larger) square acrylic ruler with 45 degree lines
6 1/2" x 12" (or larger) for cutting strips
Add a Quarter Plus ruler for foundation piecing
Sewing tools ( scissors, seam ripper, all the usual things)
