Sew You Want to Make Shirts? - Get Your Shirt Together!
You’ve nailed the bottoms… now it’s time to tackle the top! If you’re ready to strut into the world of shirtmaking, this class will give you the skills (and the swagger) to sew a closet full of button- ups that look straight off the rack—but better, because they’re yours.

We’ll cover everything from fabric choices to those fussy little details that separate homemade from handmade-with-style. Expect plenty of pro tips, sneaky tailoring tricks, and maybe a few “aha!” moments along the way.

Here’s what you’ll master:

• Picking the perfect fabrics, interfacings, and tools for killer shirts

• Tweaking patterns to add unique design details (because you’re not basic)

• Sewing plackets—from classic to advanced, without the sweat

• Crafting collars so sharp they could cut glass (plus a tailor’s trick for crisp points)

• Setting sleeves and cuffs like a pro—no more sad, saggy seams

• Professional seam finishes you can do on a plain ol’ straight- stitch machine

• Topstitching that’ll make you want to brag

• Polished hems, buttons, and buttonholes to bring it all home

By the end, you’ll have the skills to create shirts that fit, flatter, and seriously impress. Bottom line? You’ll never look at store-bought the same way again. (Please complete the “bottoms up class” or have some basic garment sewing experience)
